I created this sci-fi crate for a texturing assignment in Substance Painter. The model was made in Maya and then the texturing and rendering in Substance.
I tried to challenge myself by working as procedural and non destructive as I could, making use of zero pre excising materials from substance.
Compared to my reference I wanted a more realistic and weathered look to it whiles still keeping the weathering to a minimum. I also added some painted details to make it stand out more.
Overall I'm happy with the result, not perfect but I learned a lot!
