It's time to share a trailer we worked on about a year ago, for the mobile game June's Journey!
I was responsible for the majority of character and prop rigs for this production. It was a technical and artistic challange in many ways. We aimed for a more subtle and less cartoonish feel for the animation and rigs which can be a tricky middle ground to achive, but I think we got very close. One of the main challanges was the amount of characters, so it became very important how we chose to approach the rigging, trying to be smart about it and as efficent as possible.
Finally, this was a fun challange, and cool to get to rig characters in a new style!
